In addition, a team of internal quality auditors headed by our Health, Safety and Quality manager ensure that our staff deliver the highest quality of services to our client airlines’ passengers and crews.
To increase efficiency and productivity, our staff is trained to the highest standards via IATA approved training programmes, internal seminars and training programmes, facilitated by external industry specialists. Top management and department heads regularly attend highly specialized training programmes, mainly overseas. Our experienced team of professionals with a customer-oriented scope, handles each and every flight with primary concern to safety and applicable rules and regulations. Our team foresees always a challenge in turning a late arrival into an on-time departure and most of the times this is achieved through their flexibility and expertise.
LGS Handling ltd invested more than 8 million euros in ground support equipment including: push back tractors, ground power units, air starter units, self-propelled and towable conveyor belts, diesel and battery driven tractors, passenger steps, apron passenger buses, loading platforms, Ambulifts, toilet service units and water service units. We now have in operation more than 500 ground support equipment units at both LCA and PFO airports.
Our on-site maintenance department maintains through a controllable data base system all equipment in a safe and fully operational condition following all airport regulations and airline requirements.
Its primary role in controlling the fleet and keeping it up to date, following a preventive maintenance schedule in accordance with the manufacturer’s maintenance manuals and instructions is what allows LGS Handling Ltd to offer its customers the best quality of services at all times.
